Congratulations to Lindsey Winslow, daughter of Richard and Anna Winslow, for being selected November Rotary Student of the Month. Lindsey is keeping quite busy with all her activities and other interests that a typical senior would be experiencing. This year she is secretary of the National Honor Society, which she joined last year after going through a rigorous interview process for acceptance into NHS. Lindsey was voted Homecoming Queen for 2009 and was selected as a Voice of Democracy winner. Her athletic accomplishments are many; starting with three years on the volleyball, basketball, and track teams at Bellaire. Notable honors include All-Conference Honorable Mention in volleyball, All-Conference Honorable Mention in track, as well as recipient of the Shawn Davies Award and the Coaches Award.

Lindsey has been on the Bellaire Honor Roll all through high school maintaining a 3.4 GPA. With this busy student lifestyle, Lindsey has also managed to put in over 300 hours of community service. Following graduation Lindsey is planning on pursuing a premed program in college. She is well on her way to a successful life and we all wish her the best.
