Malorie Meeker, daughter of Jennifer Weir and Scott Roesner, has been selected as the February Bellaire Rotary Student of the Month. Malorie is an outstanding student, athlete, and role model for her community.
Malorie has excelled during her time at Bellaire High School as evidenced by her 4.0 grade point average. She has been recognized for her academic abilities through her involvement in the National Honor Society (NHS) and her inclusion in the Bellaire Honor Roll each semester. Her favorite classes are Choir and Pre- Calculus.
Throughout her time in the NHS, Malorie has not only shown she is a tremendous scholar, but that she is a fantastic community member with her participation in several volunteer projects. Malorie loves to volunteer at animal shelters and at Meadowbrook.
Malorie is actively involved within the school community as well. She has played Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball, Track and Field and participated in a school play. Malorie has been named All-Conference honorable mention for volleyball. She also received an Honorable Mention for track in the 1600 meter relay.
Malorie has been an active participant in Bellaire High School Band for 4 years. Malorie says that she enjoys her friends and playing with her dog. She plans to attend Ferris State University next fall with an undeclared major at this time. Congratulations, Malorie!
