January Rotary Student of the Month – Madison Kadlec

Madison Kadlec, daughter of Jeff and Jennifer Kadlec, has been selected as the January Bellaire Rotary Student of the month. Madison is an outstanding student, athlete, and role model for her community.

Madison has excelled during her time at Bellaire High School as evidenced by her 4.0 grade point average. She has been recognized for her academic abilities through her involvement in the National Honor Society (NHS) and her inclusion in the Bellaire All A’s Honor Roll each semester. Madison’s favorite classes are yearbook and business where she gets to strengthen her eye for design.

Throughout her time in the NHS, Madison has not only shown she is a tremendous scholar, but that she is a fantastic community member with her participation in several volunteer projects. Madison is always looking to help others through local programs and organizations.

Madison is actively involved within the school community as well. She is currently a co-editor for the yearbook and is on Student Council for the fourth year in a row. She has also served as our SAFE in Northern Michigan representative for our school.

Not only is Madison a great student and community member, but she is a wonderful athlete. Madison has been a valuable member of our volleyball team for four years, and is a three-year member of the basketball team.

In addition to all that she does for the school, Madison enjoys writing and babysitting in her free time. She is particularly proud of her admission to Western Michigan University where she plans to study advertising and promotions as well as her receipt of $20,000 in merit scholarships. Congratulations Madison!
