Amber O’Neal, daughter of James and Jodi O’Neal, has been selected as the Bellaire Rotary Student of the Month for March. During her time at Bellaire, Amber has excelled both in and out of the classroom and in the community.
While maintaining her high academic standards, Amber has been involved in many extracurricular activities including green cord tutoring two times a week for her entire high school career. Amber’s favorite classes are Art and Math. This year she her peers voted her as the 2018 Homecoming Queen. Amber was on the varsity basketball team for 3 years and was chosen for the All-State Academic Award. She was on the varsity volleyball team for 2 years. Amber has been a member of student council since her freshman year and has been a member of the National Honor Society for 2 years and is currently the secretary. She has over 100 hours of voluntary community service during her high school career.
Amber is a very talented artist and has taken art classes since she was in elementary school. Her art work has been chosen to be in the Veterans Day Program several times and her art work has also been chosen for the Rubber Ducky Festival T-shirts. Amber is a hardworking, talented, kind and caring young lady. She has touched many lives during her time at Bellaire High School. Congratulations Amber!
